38th Annual Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival on November 5 & 6, 2016 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in downtown Ocean Springs, Mississippi.

DEMONSTRATIONS

The artists of the Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival are proud to showcase their works to hundreds of thousands of spectators. Many of the artists will be creating quite a show at their booths during the festival by demonstrating their works.  Artists can be seen painting, sculpting and even firing up some pottery.

HANDS ON MARINE EDUCATION

Hands on marine education area lead by the Gulf Coast Research Laboratory of the University of Southern Mississippi. Experience a variety of displays, artifacts, and hands on activities with marine education.

New! YOUNG AT ART

Children’s art market for those age eight to 18. Young art entrepreneurs will exhibit their one of a kind items For purchase on Saturday from 9 am to 3 pm on the grounds of the Walter Anderson Museum of Art. Come shop with our young artists.

BLUE MOON ART PROJECT

Mississippi artists paint their interpretation of Blue Moon for a chance to win $2,000 and to be the symbol for Blue Moon’s marketing surrounding the following year’s festival. During the festival, one lucky winner will be chosen as the “People’s Choice Award” receiving a monetary award, and you have a chance to pick the “People’s Choice Award” winner.

VOTING

Top Ten Finalists of the Blue Moon Art Project Contest will be on display near the festival’s Main Stage. Attendees are invited to view and VOTE for their favorite piece coining one lucky artist with the “People’s Choice Award”.  Both awards of project will be announced at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Music Stage.

New lineup! MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT

The Peter Anderson Arts & Crafts Festival Main Stage filled with live musical entertainment will be located in the heart of the festival off Cash Alley and DeSoto Street next to the Food Court. Enjoy musical performances from local bands with a variety of styles including Caution Swing Bridge, Sicily Swing and more.
